Freedom Course

Step into a life of freedom and live in it everyday...

Starting the week commencing 26 February, Freedom is a 12 week Small Group Bible study followed by a 24-hour Freedom Encounter that is designed to help believers move from the experience of salvation to the abundant life that Jesus desires for them. The purpose of these Freedom Small Groups is to equip participants to remove every obstacle to intimacy with God and walk in the true freedom provided through the work of the cross.

Freedom focuses on six areas of personal growth:

1. Living in the Tree of Life
   God’s desire for us was never the life of pursuing dead religion. His heart for us is that we would know Him personally through the Tree of Life and ultimately know our true identity as children of the King.
2. Walking in the Spirit
   The Spirit-led life that the Bible talks about eludes many of us. In LIFE Small Groups we learn to understand the principle of spiritual order. Feeding our spirit over our emotions and flesh is the key to walking in the Spirit.
3. Surrendering our Lives to the Lord
   God calls us to be a people whose love for Him supersedes all other desires and goals. He must be Lord of our lives so that we may grow in our purpose, live a life of forgiveness, and receive His blessings.
4. Learning to Speak Words of Life
   The Bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. By learning to speak words of life that line up with God’s Word, we have the power to change our environment and break the power of the enemy’s words from our lives.
5. Becoming a Vessel God Can Use
   God has a unique plan and purpose for each of us. The enemy’s goal is to keep us from realising that purpose, but we have the authority in Jesus to overcome sin and the enemy’s schemes to walk in victory and live a life of purity that’s full of purpose.
6. Living as a Worshipper
   Jesus said a time was coming when “true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth.” The ultimate purpose we were all created for is to worship the King. A Spirit-led life of purity and surrender produces a heart for worship.

The Course costs: £40 which includes all course material as well as food and drink at the Freedom Encounter. Spaces are limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.

Please be aware that no childcare can be provided at the group and no children can attend as its important the groups focus on the material. This will be the same for the Freedom Encounter.

If you’re not available for the Freedom Encounter on 07-08 June please sign up next time the course is running as it’s important that you are able to be at the Encounter as well as the 12 week curriculum.
